ゼネラルモーターズ（GM）が1956年に発表したコンセプトカー「Firebird II」（ファイヤーバードⅡ）は、時代を先取りしたクルマとして、一部では有名なものの、Autoblogではなぜか取り上げたことがなかった。米デトロイトで9月7～11日に開催された「第21回ITS世界会議デトロイト2014」にこのファイヤーバードIIが出展されていたので、写真と共にご紹介しよう。
